Astro Boy (film)

Sometimes you can gauge how great a movie character is by how much you wish you could somehow actually be them.

Astro Boy is a 2009 computer-animated 3-D film based on the highly successful Japanese franchise of the same name by Osamu Tezuka.

The story is set in Metro city. Astro boy is about a young robot created by one of the world's brilliant scientist in memory of his lost son, however the robot uses it's incredible powers to become a world famous super-hero, and faces his biggest challenge when an alien race threatens Earth.

Astro boy blasts off on October 23, 2009.

Become Dr.Dolittle

The Bowlingual Voice bark translator translates a dog's barks into words a human can understand. Words like, "I'm about to pee on the carpet!" =))

Developed by Takara Tomy, a Japanese toy company, this little gadget is supposed to translate your dog's feelings into words you can understand (while making your dog look like something out of a sci-fi movie). The gadget can tell you if your dog is sad, joyful, alert to danger, needy, happy or frustrated.

The gadget can be placed on the dog's collar and includes a receiver which would translate the dogs' barks. The translated bark is displayed on the receiver which also plays in audio phrases like 'I feel sad' or 'Leave me alone', the toy will hit the Japanese market on August 27th.

Who Needs Humans?

This is a video of an artificial intelligence program playing a Mario level created by another program that can create infinite variations of levels on its own. Obviously, this is how robots will entertain themselves after there are no more humans to torture.

Halo

Halo is an LED spraypaint can by French designer Aissa Logerot. Instead of spraying paint, it sprays light with the help of an LED ! The LED can change colors and brightness on the fly. It is powered by an internal battery that can be charged by shaking the can. Cool, huh ?

"Graffiti artists can conserve their own gesture they have with an aerosol spray. It is possible to change the color and the brightness of the led to change the graffiti's styles. If the light doesn't have enough battery, the user must shake it to have energy again."

Welcome to Holodeck

A group of Japanese scientists have created a touchable, 3-D hologram. That's right, a fully functional Holodeck using a combination of hologram and ultrasound technologies may be just around the corner.

Using ultrasonic waves to provide the resistance and tactile presence, the hologram simulates the sensation of rain drops or a small ball, all without interfering with the projected 3-D image. A couple of Wiimotes provide the tracking, and the programing provides the fun.

There's really nothing I can write that will be as cool or explanatory as the video above.

So, later ! :)

My wireless keyboard has gone crazy

Oh.....crap..! Am using the on-screen keyboard right now. My keyboard is acting all weird suddenly. I think its better to show you than explaining.

Typing with my keyboard :

"I6' eam6' eusing6' em,y6' e\kw e,yboa/rd6' eno6w."
I think you got it. I tried to type "I am using my keyboard right now."

Bullshit right..?
Aah ...! Just wanted to share this with you.

Mafia Wars on Facebook

This is a review for one of the popular application on Facebook.
"Mafia Wars" is a simple text based number game. You have to form a mafia gang with your friends on Facebook. You earn $ by doing jobs, taking down other mafia and robbing . One thing that annoys me in the game is that you have to wait for 3 minutes to gain one point of energy which makes me lose my patience and you get an energy boost .. thats kinda good .. but only one energy boost for one day. ~_~ Aah. Okay then, as the payer does more jobs the player gains exp. points that allows them to level up and thats the game. :P What sets this game apart from the crowd, is in its multiplayer co-operation, and a few gameplay aspects.
